FOCUS AND HEAL

lyrics:  skewed and scraped and scalled. scared to death … of life. but focus and heal. set up to fail. i fail. shut up my darkened eyes. seem scorned by all to fall. stalled by my own demise. but focus and heal.
you lift me up when i’m down and i want to open my eyes. you hold me close and grin, smagrin and i’d smagrin too yet the effects: religious trust. crystalized images just don’t compare to Who matters. hue.
why do my eyes hurt so bad? is it cuz i’ve never really used them before? i wanna see who really loves me but then do i really love You? do i really love You?
all i did was look at me and all the wounds that covered me inside and out, a soulless drought, but You’re filling me and there ain’t no doubt. the damages the bandages they ready to be put away yet help me to see Your burdens too so i know i’m not alone.

Your Suns gone down.  It's party time.  Your Spotlights shine through the curtain night.
So now my feet are shod to bring words of Peace.
Laced and prepared.  I go from whence I came.
The trail that's before me; Predecessors surveyed.
The Last, like the First, carries Hope 'tis a tune.
Your Starz sing the Wayz.  I go spin.  I go spell.
Rest for a turn.  Kick the dust from off my feet.
Breathe.  The soul is sore.  This solace war, still I stand my ground.
Night or Day, 'tis the same.  Peace passeth on!
