I wish time would slow down, almost to a hault, so I could spend forever days with You.  Why does night keep haunting me, forcing me to slumber?  Well, I guess I need the rest.  But I don't want to sleep or even squint my eyes in fear I'll miss Your captivating face.  My darkness glows when I'm lost within Your shadow, my ambiance of love.  

You always shine a brighter light on my self made darkened days.  You always have.  You always will.  To close my eyes is what I fear the most; to see a ghost.  Oh wait, I guess I'll dream of You.  I love to stay up late at night just talking to You.  I get that sense that I'm not alone.  I know we're distanced, yet so close in harmony.  You've rescued me while in dismay.

Just a thought of You can warm me for what You've done and what You do.  You are my passion and my desire.  Since Your covenant of love secures my daily rest, I'd rather sleep when wide awake.  So please hold me for the rest of my life.  You're the best time I'll ever have.  All that I want, is everything that You provide.  Oh my God, don't say "good night".  

In my heart is You, and I, too, dwell in You, my love.  We're set together for a life time.  I want to kiss You every night, for You are the breath of Life: You can occupy.  You can re-supply.  Sing me a lullaby.  Gently wipe my eyes.  Unmask my crude disguise.  I apologize, For now I realize Your ultimate sacrifice!
